I am going to illustrateto you the technique to dis assemble a Compaq presario notebook.The model i have chosen is 3424 au as its one of the most common one used by the Students.
Configuration:
OS: vista home edition RAM:512 mb Processor:2.2 Ghz AMD Turion Mobile TechNoLogy Graphics: Nvedia G force series
So lets get Started
First you need to get a Philips 2.0 screw driver Cos this one perfectly fits the compaq Notebooks.Also get hold of some Small cups/katories to hold the screws as you remove them.
Remember if you feel that you need to use your strength ....you are Wrong.There is never a time when you need to apply brute force.
Now Simply remove the screws you see.En keep it in the containers you have.
Now remove all the flaps and remove the battery.You will see a set of screws under the Battery base,remove them too.Make sure you keep each screw set in a different container.
Now we remove the hard disk and the screw set below it.This will lead to the detachment of the Keyboard on the other side And the screws below the Bios cell flap will detach the CD-Rom.Now You can Flip to the other side.
Now slowly pull down the keyboard and its out.
To completely remove the Keyboard you have to detach the i/o Bus .Slowly remove it and Pull up the keyboard.
Now to remove the Audio panel.Put the screw Driver at the centre of the Panel an Lift it up which releases the locks and then you need to remove the power button connection plus the optical power cord to detatch the flap entirely.
