Data
Communications & Networking by Forouzan
Very nice book for Data communication & networking concepts...
Must be studied along with the chapter wise ppts for better
understanding...
The
handbook is organized into 45 chapters. Each contains tables,
formulas, definitions, and other information needed for the topic at
hand. Each chapter also contains numerous examples to explain how to
use the tables and formulas. Some of the figures were created using
MATLAB and MATHEMATICA.
This
text aims to present relevant, accurate and readable definitions
of common and not so common terms, algorithms, techniques and
information related to DSP technology and applications. It is hoped
that the information presented will complement the formal teachings of
the
many excellent DSP textbooks available and bridge the gaps that often
exist between advanced DSP texts and introductory DSP.

This
Book has text for an introductory course in operating systems
at the junior or senior undergraduate level or at the first-year
graduate level. We hope that practitioners will also find it useful. It
provides a clear descriptionof the concepts that underlie operating
systems. As prerequisites, we assumethat the reader is familiar with
basic data structures, computer organization, and a high-level
language, such as C.
